The Sales Floor Lead plays a critical role in driving retail revenue and ensuring an exceptional customer experience. This hands-on leadership position is responsible for executing sales strategies on the floor, mentoring a team of sales associates, and optimizing merchandising and customer flow. The ideal candidate possesses exceptional leadership skills, a deep understanding of merchandising and sales tactics, and a results-driven mindset.
Note: This role includes all standard Sales Associate responsibilities, with additional leadership and strategic duties outlined below.
Essential Functions
- Develop, implement and adapt in-store sales strategies to meet or exceed revenue targets.
- Analyze daily sales data and market trends to adjust strategies based on real-time data.
- Lead, coach, and mentor the sales team through on-the-floor guidance and feedback.
- Manage merchandising layout and product placement to maximize conversion.
- Maintain a high standard of customer service and resolve issues as needed
- Build and maintain customer relationships through follow-ups and loyalty programs.
Additional Responsibilities.
- Stay current on emerging sales technologies.
- Develop and deliver ongoing training for new hires and existing staff to improve sales skills and product knowledge.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to align in-store promotions with digital advertising efforts.
- Work with fulfillment and inventory teams to ensure timely and accurate order processing.
- Track and report on sales KPIs, team performance, customer satisfaction scores, and inventory turns using CRM and ERP tools.

Necessary Skills/Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in retail sales leadership, preferably in electronics or tech.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and develop high-performing sales teams.
- Strong merchandising skills and understanding of retail sales cycles.
- In-depth knowledge of consumer electronics, especially computers and accessories.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in CRM systems and sales tracking tools.
