PoE++ IEEE 802.3bt Layer 2+ Managed Switch with Two Gigabit Uplinks and Self-Healing Network features
The 10-Port L2+ Fully Managed PoE++ Switch with 8 Gigabit Ports and 2 SFP Uplinks from Intellinet Network Solutions is the feature-rich installer's choice for small businesses and enterprises. Two 10/100/1000BASE-T 4PPoE (PoE++) ports deliver up to 90 watts to even the most power-hungry devices like Thin Clients, POS systems or PTZ speed dome cameras. Six more PoE+ Gigabit ports power devices like IP phones and IP cameras with up to 30 W per port. Any IEEE802.3bt/at/af-compliant device attached to the switch requires no additional power, which avoids the time and expense of electrical rewiring and reduces the clutter from power supplies and adapters on ceilings and walls. This managed switch supports any mix of PoE and non-PoE devices, and thanks to its short circuit, overload and high-voltage protection function, your equipment is well-protected.
Self-Healing Network with increased reliability and stability - Intellinet Powered Device Monitor (PDM)
This managed PoE switch is equipped with Powered Device Monitoring, a selfhealing PoE function. A built-in PoE watchdog performs a PD alive check on all connected PDs and automatically resets unresponsive devices, such as PoE security surveillance cameras, by cutting off and then restoring power. The PDM function is especially useful in applications where connected devices are crucial to network operation, such as in industrial or surveillance settings. As an added benefit, the PD Alive function helps eliminate unnecessary technical support calls and costly trips by field-support engineers because the functional reboot can often bring the unresponsive device back online.
Web Management
Equipped with an impressive array of advanced management functions, this managed switch allows you to be in full control of your network. It supports VLAN, port aggregation, QoS, port mirroring, SNMP V1 and the popular V2c, just to name a few. It's also Domotz compatible for even easier management via the cloud.
PoE Management
This web-managed switch provides extensive PoE management features. The delay-time-per-port feature reduces the power hike that usually happens at system start, and the PoE priority feature (low, medium, high) allows you to define mission-critical, high-priority ports that will continue to receive power even if the switch's power budget has been exceeded. You can also define the maximum available power per port, turn PoE on and off at each port and monitor the current power draw of all connected PoE devices. Additionally, this managed network switch can send SNMP-traps messages to alert the administrator that the total power draw on the switch exceeds the user-defined threshold value.
How our PoE scheduling saves you energy
As part of our Self-Healing Networks suite, our managed switches are not only capable of providing high power but also of controlling the power supply efficiently. The "PoE scheduling" function allows you to turn on or off the PoE power for each PoE port at specific time intervals. Turning off devices like IP phones and access points outside of office hours helps your enterprise reduce its energy costs and protect the environment.
