- Management and configuration of the power supply modules is available when the IONMM management module card is installed in the ION106 chassis.
- In this configuration, the power supplies operate in an instant fail-over mode.

- A single power supply can be used to power all of the slide-in modules installed in the chassis
- The ION 6-Slot Chassis can support up to two hot-swappable power supply modules which mount in the front of the chassis.
