Thanks to the dye-sublimation printing process, the prints exit the printer completely dry and ready to handle, and with the final overcoat layer, they are even water-resistant! Now updated to V3.0, the SELPHY Layout app lets you organize how you want to print your images. New finishing options
Most dye-sub printers can only produce glossy prints (because the final overcoat layer is glossy), but Canon has learned how to change the texture of the final print so that you can choose from glossy, semi-gloss and satin finishes. Additionally you can Print patterns into the overcoat layer to give your images a subtle pop of texture.
