HDMI 4K Video Distribution Over IP: MediaCento IPX 4K

The MediaCento IPX 4K provides an attractively priced solution for distributing high-quality HDMI 4K video over your existing Gigabit Ethernet network using standard TCP/IP protocols. In a multicast setup, a single transmitter can drive multiple receivers without adding extra network load.

Ultimate Quality and Simple Setup

The system supports full 4K UHD for the best picture quality and includes 4K to 1080p downscaling to ensure the video displays correctly on legacy screens. Audio support is robust, offering embedded digital HDMI surround sound, plus the ability to embed and extract analog audio for DVI sources or routing to external amplifiers.

Integration is simple plug-and-play. The transmitter and receiver install directly into your existing LAN infrastructure, requiring no manual IP configuration. For easier installation, the system is PoE powered, eliminating the need for external power supplies when using a PoE network switch.

Extending Functionality and Reach

The MediaCento IPX 4K extends signals up to 328 feet (100 m) point-to-point but can go significantly further using a network switch, transmitting over either CATx or single-mode fiber cable. It supports USB extension for KVM management of a remote workstation, making it ideal for basic KVM and touchscreen digital signage applications. For control, the system includes RS-232 support for configuration and extending bidirectional control signals, such as turning screens on and off. Optimal performance is guaranteed with the EDID copy function and HDCP 2.2 compliance.

The versatile MediaCento IPX 4K is perfect for applications across retail, hospitality, corporate training, command and control rooms, and educational video streaming.
